Doesn't work! I do not recommend! According to the product description, it is for my Kitchenaid KFCP22EXMP5. But that's not the case. It looks the same as the original filter and installs in the same way. However, once installed, the filter made a loud rattling noise that lasted about a minute. I activated the dispenser to collect the first few gallons of water to throw away as directed and the water did not flow easily or smoothly. The dispenser dispensed water unevenly and the flow was never consistent. I replaced the filter thinking it was bad. The same happened with two others (I bought a pack of three). At first I thought my fridge was broken too, but I settled on another waterdrop filter that I had used before and it worked fine. I installed and the water dispenser worked great. No splashing, smooth flow and cold water. I cannot recommend this product. It may work on another model of fridge but not mine.
