I restore old planes and other woodworking tools. This little square is just what I needed to set up some old Stanley Baileys as shooting planes. I want the neck to be flat and the sides and sole to be at a 90 degree angle. I can believe once Starrett says it's square and flat, it really is. The first plane I tested with this square after checking put a reflective smooth glass surface on top of red oak. It can be pricey, but comes oiled and in its own little protective case.
- CHARACTERISTICS: The beam is machined in the inside corner to eliminate burrs or dirt. Supplied with plastic storage box.
