Review on Dell S2722QC 27 4K USB-C Monitor with Integrated Speakers and Adjustable Stand by Terrell Perry

Excellent quality from Dell, nice screen overall. The stand is ok but nothing special (I use a 100mm vesa swing arm mount which is a definite improvement). The OSD is controlled by 4 physical buttons and offers convenient color temperature control. Note, however, that full control of the monitor requires Dell proprietary software that *only* runs on Windows 10 (as stated in the manual). Specifically, this monitor *doesn't* go into sleep or sleep mode in the default configuration. Apparently this can be changed with Dell software? Anyway, I manually turn it off every day, which is annoying but doesn't get in the way. However, here in 2022 it would be nice if new hardware shipped with decent default power saving settings.
