I already owned two razors, both of which were top of the line, so I decided to get this one as well. Panasonic replacement parts are prohibitively expensive in the current post-apocalyptic economy. Panas may buy three sets of knives for the price of this razor. When compared to Panasonic, the global leader in shaving quality, it is considerably closer to Panasonic. Definitely a cut above Phillips, who just keeps going around in circles, staying in the same spot, and giving himself a so-so, long, and unpleasant horseradish shave. We'll have to see how dependable it is, but at this price, replacing it every six months to a year will cost less than replacing blades in Panas. You may depend on its assistance in times of need.
