To be honest we only bought them to keep our baby with ASD at home. Each of us has forgotten the door and pulled it shut, but it holds tight and does not ripen either from the wall or from the door. Our toddler stood and pulled, yanked, kept pushing, really trying everything to make sure each door opened without getting damaged or loosened. It will definitely slow down if not stop the attacker, but I'm sure if anyone wants it they can bypass it. Does what we need, the chains are long enough and I thought it was a great purchase.
