So this is my first projector so I have to admit I have no comparison. However, I wasn't expecting much of the picture quality for the price, especially since I don't have a screen. However, I have to say that I honestly couldn't tell any difference between this and my 10 year old big screen TV. It's not exactly the new 4K footage, but to be honest it's very impressive. For some reason I can't post a photo but I was very impressed with the quality of the video. The noise was loud enough for a backyard camp. It was so much fun and so different from your normal movie night in your living room. I'll say I didn't have the right connection which I need to connect my iPhone, which is what I expected (it was my fault that I should have read better). However, I have a fire stick and it connected very easily, no problem at all. All in all, it was one of those Revain wins. I still can't believe a product under $80 can be such a cool gadget. Another thing I forgot to mention is that it has to be pretty dark to get good picture quality, but that's what I expected. Although I've never owned a projector like this, my kids have had toys and things that project, and that's how projectors work. I can still see the image with the lights on, but the quality is much better when the lights are off or, in our case, outside in the evening or at night.
