Review on Underwater Handheld Waterproof Photography Accessories by Michael Powell

Glad to get this for a Maui vacation and snorkeling trip to Molokini Crater. I used 1/4-20 bolts for the lights and everything installed. During 10 minutes of snorkeling, 3/4 inch of water collected in the dome. Once water enters the dome it is very difficult to clean it again without disassembling (which I haven't done yet). The inside of the back panel has a rim around the camera hole, making it almost impossible to completely remove water without shaking. Unfortunately, the shaking leaves stains all over the inside of the dome lens. You can't win I can try to add some modifications like a dome drain plug and attach the gasket to the dome so I can use it on future tubes but right away it has many problems. The camera bay and buttons seem to work fine - I'm not sure if they're leaking because I can see the dome seal was a leak. Once I fix the dome seal, I'll be better able to test the knob seals.
