A good wrench is the best thing in a power tool

I am satisfied with the purchase of a 16250 Mountain torque wrench. This is within 2% accuracy. It also makes a nice "click" sound when you reach your desired torque, even at lower settings. I use this key everywhere. Anything from a simple tie rod end that requires 30 ft-lbs to engine repairs, wheel bearings and front axle nuts that need to be torqued to 210 ft-lbs. The extra length is a big plus. My old wrench was about 16 inches long, which is a whopping 26 inches when you get to the top of the scale considering you shouldn't be using a piece of pipe on the torque wrench. This may be too long for some and it is important to know how much space you have before considering a torque wrench. , and this is a shorter wrench, about 18 inches. I no longer use this wrench and that's ok. They seem to be falling apart or not clicking after about 6 months of use. that they have a lifetime guarantee, but I don't like driving 45 minutes to the nearest store. This key appears to be of good quality but time will tell. If you have room for a longer key like this, Highly recommend. I don't understand why I have to spend $300 for a snap on key. I've used it and don't see anything special about it other than the high price. When I heard about the Mountain brand, I decided to give it a try. And hey, sometimes a brand you've never heard of is the best.
