Strong tool ideal for reinstalling Toyota Camry struts!

Availability I needed to torque the bolts on my new 2000 Camry struts to 188 ft/lb and the length and weight of this torque wrench was perfect for the job. Torque adjustment is done simply by turning the knob to the desired value and then tightening the knob with the thumbscrew at the end. When you use the wrench, a loud and distinct click will be heard, indicating that you have applied the desired torque. The wrench is long enough that I can lean heavily on the handle with the heel of my hand…

Solid tool for the price

Bought this tool to replace the timing belt on my speedometer. I'm usually a person who spends extra money to get a quality product, especially with my tool. So a $50 torque wrench was a bit risky in my opinion. Especially this size. The instrument itself looks pretty solid and heavy. The torque setting gives a crisp feel and the crack is very easy to feel and hear. Comes in a great protective sleeve and paper saying it's factory calibrated. It's hard to say how accurate that is, but I checked…

A good wrench is the best thing in a power tool

I am satisfied with the purchase of a 16250 Mountain torque wrench. This is within 2% accuracy. It also makes a nice "click" sound when you reach your desired torque, even at lower settings. I use this key everywhere. Anything from a simple tie rod end that requires 30 ft-lbs to engine repairs, wheel bearings and front axle nuts that need to be torqued to 210 ft-lbs. The extra length is a big plus. My old wrench was about 16 inches long, which is a whopping 26 inches when you get to the top of…

Good and durable product

Mining torque wrench arrived earlier than described! So the delivery was very fast, I was satisfied. It comes in a molded red plastic case which is very convenient to carry or travel. It comes with very simple and easy to read instructions on how to set it to the torque you want. For those who have never used a torque wrench. It also comes with a calibration certificate, according to mines the device/tool was calibrated on April 2nd, 2012. It's rated at +4% which is pretty accurate for a torque

What a great instrument you have.

I bought this torque wrench to replace my master's broken torque wrench. I read the reviews and some commented that this wrench is big and heavy. You're not kidding, it's a long, heavy key. But the weight and length speak to the operator when tightening a large nut. I found it easy to tighten the lug nuts on my machine to the required 100 ft/lbs of torque. It was so easy that I was able to tighten and tighten the jam nut right after it clicked. I have never tightened anything over 100 ft/lbs…

Torque wrench Mountain 16250, great offer!

Bought because I don't really need lower torque settings and need anything over 150 ft/lbs to work with farm/ranch implements, 1 ton fronts etc. Excellent value for money Price. Measures right up to the click of the wrench. (Maybe both of them don't work?) Made from high quality stainless steel, it doesn't state which country it was made in. It seems like a strong key that will be great for your big jobs. For anyone complaining about the size, a shorter wrench should have been purchased, the…
