I like how it allows me to see all of my employee information in one place, which makes management much easier! It's easy for employees as well because there is no need go back & forth between applications or different systems - everything can be done within this system alone!! The customer service has been great too. Haven't found anything that isn't very useful so far but they are always willing to help when needed. ! If you're looking at software solutions then look into compensation master first. !! There really aren;t any downsides yet other than maybe not being able to add payroll directly through their website (not sure if thats even an option). We have saved time by using CM instead of having 2 separate apps/systems with our HR dept., Payroll Dept.' etc.. The best part of using Compensation Master is that it is easy to use, the reports are clear and concise, and there's always something new to learn. There really isn't anything I dislike about this software. It has been great for our compensation team. The benefits are numerous. We have been able to create more accurate pay plans and have better communication with employees. This has also helped us reduce turnover by having clearer expectations as well as better benefits.
