I have used these with epoxy resin and resin pigment paint. Each letter is a separate shape, it is not a fixed shape. Letters are easily applied but can easily be torn/cut. These shapes are not upside down, so the smooth edges are on the back. free (like the middle of the letter P). Finished letters stand separately, all flat bottomed except for the heart which should be on its side. Most of them have flat tops so I found out they can be stacked on top of each other. Oh, of course not. These are all uppercase, no lowercase. My only problem using it was when trying to form a word that had repeating letters. Since there is only one mold for each letter, I had to make most of the word the first day and then after it had set and not formed, make the second letter the next day. I didn't get exactly the same amount of resin/pigment and it was clear that one letter wasn't the same as the others. So write down what/how much you used in each word that repeats a letter.
