I'm a flight attendant. This gives me an extra sense of security when in a hotel during a layover. There have been reports of people's rooms being broken into over the years. I sleep a lot better under the door with it. When it starts, it's LOUD. My only issue is that the one I bought last year accidentally turned on and as soon as I turned it off after turning it back on the alarm went off. It never restarts. Just bought a new one to replace it.
