This duvet is exactly what I was looking for. Good blankets are expensive. For the price, this blanket is just perfect. The perfect warmth for me. I have a flannel duvet. It doesn't have corner loops to attach it to the duvet cover, but it doesn't seem to move much once it's there. I didn't find it too heavy or too hot, but I live in northern Wisconsin where the winters are very cold, so I wanted a wool blanket made with a heavyweight winter fabric. I have an all-weather wool blanket that I love, but it's not warm enough for winter. I will use it in spring and summer. I didn't notice any smell from this blanket at all. It comes in a nice thick cotton pouch for storing or carrying. If you don't sleep well, this is the perfect rug for you.
