This case does everything you want, right. It can absorb shock and force movement through the rubber bands and stay attached to the bike. I have recommended this to two of my friends and they love the mount too. It only spins when you want it to. When a bike is bumped, it doesn't move on its own. It holds my iphone 8 plus perfectly in its case.

It didn't work as intended. I attached it to the handlebars of my mountain bike and after 10 seconds on the trail it was hanging upside down. I tried tightening it up but it still didn't work. If it's hanging upside down, it looks like it's about to fall out. I don't want to lose my expensive cell phone on the bike path. Maybe going straight down the road on a flat road would be ok. I don't recommend it, at least not for what I wanted to do.

This phone mount works! I use a smaller phone (iPhone 5s) and the phone stayed in place while driving on very rough (deteriorating) roads. I've only ridden it over 100 miles and it's held in place by a silicone strap. There's some shake factor, but it's minimal. Terrible. Fits my phone (One+ Seven Pro) but as it's not that big it slides into the holder. And when it's attached to my bike, it just folds down. We put this phone mount on my son's bike so he doesn't have to ride with one hand (his pockets are too small for a phone and he refuses to carry a backpack or bag because that wouldn't be cool).
