I purchased these fin spring straps after the rack fell out of one of my fins. After a brief argument with the customer service department that they wouldn't put the supposed $2 piece in because I no longer had proof of purchase for the fins, I purchased these spring straps in place of a standard strap replacement. Unfortunately, one of the rivets holding the strap was missing from the package. You can use the straps as is without this thing, which I will do until they fail. I have been using Cressi products for a long time and am generally happy with them, but will switch to another brand if this spring strap fails due to a missing rivet.
