It is important to note that this battery monitor can only communicate with a Bluetooth device such as the iPhone over a very short distance. Maybe a dozen feet. Unfortunately, this device also suffered from poor range. It couldn't connect to my Wi-Fi system while it was in the driveway near my house. This and the complicated setup process prompted me to send this unit in for a refund. If I find a better battery monitor - one I can trust with Wi-Fi support and decent range - I'll probably replace the Quicklynks device. I'll leave it installed for now. Update March 27, 2019 - Plugin no longer works. The battery was marked as "0% charged" when there was enough power left to crank and start the car. I can no longer return it through Revain - I've already passed the 30 day limit - so I'm trying to get the seller to replace or refund it under warranty. However, your phone number listed on the Revain product page has been deactivated. Haven't given up yet but I'll probably have to go through Revain to get a response from the seller - Quicklynks. Short version - do not buy.
