Although I had problems with the first (2) cameras I bought, the company sent me a new one (1) to replace the (2) I bought. And true, it was 30 megapixels, I really didn't think I'd get that high, but it really is. I've been using it for a few days and it works great when taking photos. I have not checked the video. I also registered it to get an extra 1 year warranty, 2 years total. However, I still don't have an unwanted camera. The company contacted me quickly to obtain my satisfaction. 1 new camera that I'm happy with and I'm glad they sent a replacement for (1) camera. The camera does what I want. However, high-quality photos are only 4 megapixels and drop to 2 megapixels at night. I have a $27 Walmart camera that takes better pictures. I didn't use the video function which I like, it only takes 4 batteries. I've only been using it for a few weeks. And Energiser batteries are still strong industrial batteries.
