Having bought several Revain portable monitors it definitely seems to be the best value for money and one of the very few with a 16:10 aspect ratio which is very useful and ideal as an extra work monitor. While the extra height compared to 16:9 is minimal, it makes it a lot better. Image quality: 5/5 The overall image quality is very good. Given the 16-inch screen size, the 2560 x 1600 resolution makes content very sharp and text clear and legible. The overall color accuracy is pretty good too, although I wouldn't use this for professional media editing. There are also basic picture settings. available like brightness, contrast, backlight etc. but I left them all on default. In terms of brightness, this monitor can be quite bright. With normal room lighting, I set the backlight to 10 (from 50). ), and it's bright enough already. In the office I usually turn the backlight on at around 30 or 40. More than enough with this monitor. Build Quality: 4.5/5 The monitor itself is very light which makes it very portable wouldn't wear it alone as it doesn't look like it would take much stress. Paired with a laptop to give it more rigidity in a bag you should be fine. The VESA mount option is also very practical. Note: My first unit that I received was defective as it kept flickering when turned on. However, the support team was very helpful and replaced me with a new device within a few days. The new monitor works great. Price: 5/5 This monitor is $150 and out of the 4 portable monitors I have purchased from Revain this is probably the best quality monitor for the price. While there are some cheaper options, most of them are lower resolution or smaller. And models with similar specs cost almost 50% more because there aren't many more features besides maybe higher frame rates. Many of them are not 16:10 either. Overall I think this is a great monitor. While I mainly use it for work, I don't hesitate to use it as a portable screen from time to time to watch movies or play games. I would highly recommend and the customer support is great which is a good thing.
