The packaging clearly states that it can only be used with copper conductors, but Revain's description fails to mention this very important detail! I only use galvanized steel for my electric fence. Galvanized earth rod, galvanized earth wire and galvanized electric fence wire. I bought this particular clip because Revain said it was electroplated but GB says it's bronze. Bronze is primarily made from COPPER and the rule of thumb in these installations is to use all metals of the same type. If you use copper, use everything. If you use stainless steel, use everything. If you use galvanized steel, use everything!
