Cheap, dubious threads-- but may be able to get the job done

I switched to using these from using Ward and Anvil fittings (black iron pipe) and found these nearly impossible to tighten-- with two pipe wrenches, no less. The threading is junk-- not sure if it is tapered too much, not long enough, or both. I finally got my thing put together. These will NOT be suitable for plumbing purposes. (I'm using them to build some industrial lighting fixtures, so they don't need to carry natural gas, but they still need to hold up to pretty serious use and that is…

  • Threaded on to pipe fine. Thinner than normal purpose flange but still strong.

They’re great for the price but have china embedded and other markings over the product which stands out when your using a bunch of them.

These are great! Used to build a shelf

These Elbow tee's were perfect and exactly what I was looking for to help me build my shelf. They are sturdy and thread together nicely with the other pipe. Will definitely purchase again for my next shelf.

Exactly as advertized!

NO problem with other pipes fitting into these flanges. A little black matte spray paint once assembled and you are good to go. No screws provided but great price.

Gray not Black: my feedback

Great looking and built solid but they need to list them as gray not black. I had to paint them all to match the black pipe I already had. Great price for what you get.

Gets the job done but thinner metal

Works well for pipe shelving, however, not compatible with store bought fittings. The are much smaller and thinner than the ones sold at the local store.

These are great for building shelves, I just started my second project with them and you can't beat the price compared to your local hardware store. For aged plans just use vinegar and steel wool, looks great

Smaller then Home Depot/Lowes

These are smaller than your typical home depot/lowes floor flanges w/ 3 screw holes vs. 4, but for home made furniture etc they're perfect.

Very happy with my purchase

I ordered the pipe and fittings to use in my bathroom remodel. I made a shower curtain rod surround and safety rails for my free standing shower. They are very sturdy and look really nice.I am very happy with my purchase.

Versatile component using black pipe

The versatility! I attach table legs to flange, secured by screws to table tops that I’ve tiled. Very secure.Also used to make bookends

Great but keep dry - my new review

These hold really tight. Only issue is they rust really easily. I washed my shelf with a wet rag and just that brushing it caused it to rust. Also, not really black. Compare to the black bolts in the pic.
