Get ready for a hike, just in case!

I received a GEAR AID Fire Strand 550 Paracord 7 Strand Tinder Camping Survival Coyote 50ft in exchange for this review. There is a list of 10 essentials. pack EVERY time you go hiking or camping. Mostly things you'll LOVE (like water and a snack or a jacket when you get to the top of that mountain and it'll be a lot cooler there), and some "just in case". Paracord is one such item as it can be used in many cases in an emergency. (You can tie branches together to create a shelter, use it to stabilize an injured limb in an emergency.) Another important item is TINDER and waterproof matches or other lighting systems if you need to start a fire. This paracord has tinder on the INSIDE which makes it easy to carry anything. Inside are 7 strands of paracord, one of which is covered in wax, which makes it easier to light and helps start a fire. Every year you hear stories of day hikers encountering unexpected storms or other emergencies that require them to get to bed and warm up (one of my cousins had an emergency like this when she was at the top of the mountain, a blizzard). !She survived because she HAD the right tinder and matches) Don't be a victim. Pack your backpack (OR ANY camping backpack) with essentials, including this paracord. In our case, each family member has a bracelet and keychain made from this cord, so it's useful every day and in case something goes wrong.
