Disappoints best in storage and organization

This item has worked great for about 6 months. Then I noticed that the port you plug the power cord into is defective and will no longer charge from the outlet. I decided to buy batteries for it as the return period had expired and I still wanted to use the product. Then I noticed that the piece of plastic that attaches to the batteries is missing. I couldn't remember if it was always missing as I originally bought it to stick in the wall. So now I have a ruler and tape to hold the batteries in place until I can replace them. I wish it could have lasted longer for the price I paid.
