I bought this primarily for Trenta sized Starbucks cold drinks and it works great. The fit is good - the large size extends approximately 1" from the top of the cups. (Haven't tried small and medium cups with smaller cups.) Much easier to grab than with paper towels, a small rag, and other alternatives I've tried. Everything is fine with thermal insulation, the cup is cool, but not cold. Ice lasts about 6 hours indoors on a hot summer day - 2-3 hours or so longer than without a holder. I chose the black color and I like it. Not very bulky - when not in use I can keep it in the front pocket of loose pants and say it's there, but then forget it, like a phone in my pocket.
