Review on 💡 Enhance Your Lighting Setup with the KC HiLiTES 6315 Wiring Harness: 40 Amp Relay and LED Rocker Switch Combo by John Wood

I bought this kit to hook up running lights on a jeep. The headlights were factory and there was even a factory cable connected, but there was no space in the cockpit to turn the lights on and off. The owner's manual said the swingarm end was on, but my model (Jeep Wrangler Sport 2002) didn't have that option. I read some online reviews and settled on the KC model because of the 40A relay and some fuses. I modified the kit by cutting the plugs that usually come with KC HiLites and plugging them into my existing bumper lights. I replaced the rocker ground and relay ground with longer wires so I could connect my frame to the firewall ground and inner cab ground respectively. For the rocker switch, I chose a Daystar KU80014 20 AMP Red Light Kit so I can use it with the existing cutouts that most Jeeps already have on the dash. The 3 wires from the relay connected directly to the Daystar kit with no problems. I recommend this kit to anyone who needs to connect external headlights to their truck or car.
