I just installed these. They seem very durable. I tried to place them as shown in the photos. The straps sagged heavily. So I just drove them over the ring frame and right onto the anchors and they were very tight. Minimal movement or give. I think that's why some people have trouble getting them on their feet like the picture shows. It sags, and a strong gust of wind picks it up and breaks it. Also, be sure to attach the extra strap under the alligator clip so it doesn't come loose on its own. I would recommend them. Even if the belts are broken or worn. You can get a set of ratchet straps very cheaply from Harbor Freight Company and use them with anchors.
