It really works! in trampolines

Wow! These things really did it! I bought them last year to secure our trampoline. Well, they were certainly put to the test last week. We had a terrible storm in downtown Texas. Multiple tornadoes and straight line winds of 80-90 mph with microbursts. Our grill has been knocked over, our patio furniture has been smashed, our neighbors trash can has been knocked over, fences have been destroyed and trees have been uprooted. 2 trampolines are wrapped around power poles but ours is still…

The anchors are pretty good, the straps not so much.

The anchors are pretty good, the straps are not so good. The anchors sank into the ground fairly easily, easier than hitting a large stake with a hammer, which I had done before. The included straps are too tangled to use and mine broke after tightening it right out of the box. I went to the hardware store and bought some nice tie down straps that are very easy to use for $10 (four of them) and they work great. I have to move two traps to mow and before moving the butts with 4 stakes and pegs…

It seems like a really good setup.

I just installed these. They seem very durable. I tried to place them as shown in the photos. The straps sagged heavily. So I just drove them over the ring frame and right onto the anchors and they were very tight. Minimal movement or give. I think that's why some people have trouble getting them on their feet like the picture shows. It sags, and a strong gust of wind picks it up and breaks it. Also, be sure to attach the extra strap under the alligator clip so it doesn't come loose on its own.

  • You could choose a newer model

**UPDATE* We've had them for over a year now, they were put to the test last night, Hurricane Ida in southern Louisiana. The metal frame buckled in places, but the trampoline didn't move. We are on the lake, there is an open field behind us, nothing can blow the wind, it was a very scary situation, but these anchors did exactly what they were supposed to do. ** Bought a few weeks ago to prepare for a hurricane. They were finally put to the test this weekend, 60mph gusts and steady 30mph winds…

Zero start if possible. Avoid.

While our JumpKing trampoline is GREAT, their mounting kit is TERRIBLE. The straps are weak, the clasps are even weaker (some are sewn back), and the anchors themselves are even worse. Although they were "metal", one of them broke in my hand as I was screwing them into the ground. Part of the D ring actually broke off. So that speaks volumes about the quality of the metal. Avoid this anchor kit at all costs. zero trust. I stopped by a local hardware store and bought 4 soil auger work stands and

You will feel better and be able to replace the ties every year.

Straps were too long. I had to wrap them around the trampoline twice to make it work. One strap was reversed with the flaps facing opposite directions, so I had to twist and wrap that strap twice to make it work. The other strap had no prongs on one side of the buckle so it wouldn't stay tight. It took 2 people to pull and tie it to hold it in place. Unfortunately I don't think these belts will last more than 2 seasons. They are not the strongest and I see them fading and aging in the sun, rain

No more flying trampolines! weather tested!

I ordered them about 6 months ago but was waiting to write my review. One of the anchors broke during installation so we were very disappointed at first. We live in the Shenandoah Valley and the ground is very rocky so installation was a bit difficult but at the end of the day we installed 3 anchors and blocked. We lost our last trampoline to a hurricane and didn't want to let that happen again. We've had a couple of big hurricanes in the last 6 months, but last night we had a dope. Constant…

Build your own kit instead

Many people say they have used this kit to secure their trampoline in storms with winds in excess of 70 mph. but our set failed in a 50-55 mph gale. The anchors held perfectly in the ground, but the seams on several straps came undone, and as a result, the trampoline flew to the neighbors and bent. (We even shut off the power grid, which most people don't think should be done.) I called the company to see if they expected an outage with such fluctuations and told them what had happened. CSR…
