This excellent product is very easy to install but make sure you measure how long it lasts. If you need two, one on each side, multiply the pounds. I have a big door on my RV so I got two 45lb shocks that weigh 90lbs, learned the hard way how to install them to unlock the door and it has with such power acted that if it had hit me she would have knocked me out. Next time I have the 24lb shock and it works great. Please give us this information to make everything work much better
