Review on Upgrade Your Toilet with the Qualihome Universal Side Mount Toilet Flush Lever - Chrome Finish Replacement Handle by Neil Biondo

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Wrong instructions, sticky seal.

First, the instructions say the nut should be tightened clockwise (like most nuts, bolts, screws, etc. in the US). Unfortunately. it pulls counterclockwise. This means removing it can be confusing. and cause the plastic assembly to break, which I did. Further on the handle is a rubber seal. causing the handle to stick in the open position. If you loosen the nut a little, it will sink after the water level has dropped enough for the damper in the toilet to pull it down. This is bad because you feel like you have to sit and watch to make sure it doesn't stay open and waste water. works better than my previously broken grip which I replaced. not a fan

Pros
  • 4. Place the lock nut on the flush lever and tighten it onto the flush tank, noting the reverse threads. Don't overtighten. 5. Attach the toilet ball valve chain or strap to the new flush arm and adjust as needed.
Cons
  • Minor issues
