This looked like a good design online but it is actually very low light, not enough for aquariums with plants. The brackets are cheap and scratched and the box arrived so mangled I'm surprised the lantern was intact. The aluminum part of the lantern is freely inserted into the brackets with no fastening option, so that when the lantern is moved or adjusted, the aluminum part can simply fall directly into the tank. The cord is too short and on a regular counter height bar counter or table I can't plug it in and attach it to the tank (there definitely won't be a drip loop to keep water out of the outlet). It also took 5 weeks to arrive. Garbage. It's cheap so it gets 1 star but in the end I don't get my money back for it and I have to buy another lamp.
