We applied this to our newly renovated kitchen (rental) on the panel wall for protection (I hate dirty walls, food splatters and grease on the walls). I love this marble colored contact paper (you can see the gold in it)❤❤❤. I love that you can layer it if you crop it wrong and it looks like there were no mistakes. My fiance wouldn't let me put the paper down, he did with little to no help from me, just held the paper and pulled back the roll and that was for 1 piece (most likely a two person job). I should have bought 2 rolls but I'm buying now. Why four stars, 1. I just requested this contact on 26th June 2020 so not sure how it will hold up. 2. Despite the smooth surface, we have a few creases (not that noticeable, but only 1 spot visible), my fiancé is a trained carpenter. 3. I need to know how it keeps the heat (my apartment is very hot in the summer and I also hang this on the wall where the new heater is (but my stove is on that wall too). I like it shiny The smooth one Texture helps clean up the mess I put photos in and wanted to do before and after but took photos when he did the first one so forgive me Happy contact paper I love it I'll be back with updated pics as soon as I do got a new roll UPDATE: 2nd roll ordered and received.I finish the wall myself (my fiancé wasn't feeling well due to the surgery) but he did better than me the 1st time.Last 2 photos are so the end result .I needed 3rd roll (only for a small area) but I managed it.Basically you get 2.5 strips from 1 roll.It looks great in my kitchen.Can't wait until we're getting married and he's moving in. He loves it too, u And he's the guy who doesn't care about decor. Measure the walls of yours before purchasing (which I didn't). All this is connected with a harness that we made with our own hands (photo inserted). Buy it. I got the chair fabric from Revain (🐍 leather)
