The cable works but the plug fits very badly into standard PC USB ports. It can be pulled out too easily by simply wiggling the cable a bit or if your connected device is bumped. When measured with calipers, the vertical dimension is slightly below specification, and the inner plastic shell that the electrical contacts sit on is also slightly shorter. Overall height is likely a quality control issue (sheet metal bending in the press) and may vary by batch. However, the plastic shell is definitely too short. You can check this by comparing it to any other USB connector. Unfortunately, many PRC cables like this one have quality issues (compared to previously Taiwan made cables or American quality brands like Belkin).
