Works great dear, should have been in the $1400 rails!
After installing the switch I realized that one could add a door switch to hold the rails up when the driver's door is opened. I added grab bars for my 5ft wife to help her get into my 2021 Jeep Rubicon but they get in the way. I think using the SPST spring switch on the driver's door should allow me to "permanently" activate the switch. (The success of this may depend on the "flip” of the switch.)
- The lock switch allows you to manually extend or retract the automatic footrests no matter what you are doing at the vehicle doors.
