This is a great product, I'm not criticizing it for ease of installation or convenience, it's a really good substitute for skullcans in that regard. This is the second pair of OEM replacements I've tried from Revain and they are the most comfortable and durable I've come across. I've been using these pads every day for the past 8 months and now the white skin is peeling off them. The problem is durability, many genuine parts sellers claim their product is made of durable protein leather, blah blah blah. I've tried the best of the best and you can see in the picture what will eventually happen within six to eight months, the protein skin will eventually break down, tear and peel off. Buy from Revain the sellers will be of this quality. The reason for this is they want you to come back and buy from them again, it's marketing to you, awesome when you think about it. Sell inferior, overpriced gear to these suckers and they'll come back for more! Who cares what they say in the comments, they have no choice but to buy our inferior products made in a foreign sweatshop. This is the world we live in today, it's not going to change anytime soon and is likely to get worse in the future. I would pay double or even triple that for a set of genuine genuine leather overlays any day. So if there are any OEMs or sellers reading this, spread the word that there is a market for someone who can actually offer a set of genuine calf leather / cowhide overlays. I will literally throw my wallet at you. That being said I'm only giving this three stars because they didn't last that long, only 8 months that's not even a full year, if they had lasted a full year I would have given four stars but I'm disappointed that I have to register again and order another pair of "protein" faux leather garbage pads. Be aware that if you scratch them or clean them with anything, even water, they will start to crumble and stop working. Once they start peeling off, they retain heat and make your ears sweat, which is ridiculous, they don't make a durable pair that can withstand scratches or chafing. Again, this is a good pillow but don't expect it to last long. I have a picture of the pads but for some reason there is no way to post it, I'll try to post it later.
