I have had the same scale most of my life. My father bought it in 1964 before I was born. I grew up with him. Then I realized when my mother moved into a nursing home. Thought it was time for an update. Greatergood scales were usually a few pounds under the old scales, but every week or two I'd gain or lose 5-10 pounds (taking multiple consecutive measurements) and then revert to something much closer to a more accurate weight. never stayed in sync for more than two days in a row - that's the main advantage over the 1964 Libra. This week he was confused about what kind of user I am. (It only ever had one user.) If I reset it to myself, user 1, it no longer has any weight and continues to cycle through the nine user presets. I've had too much time to go back. 1964 victories. 2020 goes to the landfill.
