This is a decent economical option if you spend most of your time in one place. The first time I put them on in my Outback, the spring popped out of the locking mechanism. It was very easy to reassemble, but it immediately made me doubt its reliability. The time will show. They're good for local trips, but my first 2-hour EASY freeway kayak ride was patchy. This system swayed and rolled along the highway. They certainly aren't as durable as the Yakima or Thule, which I highly recommend paying the extra money for if you intend to use them for a long period of time or cover any distance, or you're in for a second Bought car but I think they will be used in my trailer which I will only use on site. The paddle holder worked surprisingly well. Yakima is used, but the eronyms are also a bit shaky. Wrapping the system with hands and straps is not easy.
