I'll admit right away that I'm not a gamer: I got these memory chips in the hope that their advertised speed would improve the performance of a desktop computer - which is actually a high-end gaming computer PC - which I use for business purposes in my home office. And I'm happy to report that once I installed these chips instead of the RAM that came with my computer, the machine was undeniably faster. The download process is now almost 50% faster than before and I see a noticeable reduction in the time it takes the computer to perform memory intensive operations like loading large complex spreadsheets and rendering large images and videos. . Granted, I haven't run any benchmark utilities to see if the memory ever runs at the promised 3200MHz, but the machine is clearly running better than it has since I bought it two years ago, and that's enough for me. .By the way, the flashing lights on these chips are really cool. However, my computer doesn't have a transparent case, so I can't see the light when the car is closed again. Like I said, I got the RAM for performance, not aesthetics. And what I was looking for, these chips are impressive.
