I bought a king size bed for my queen size bed. In order for the comforter, duvet or bedspread to be wide and long enough for my 14" mattress and part of the 6" box spring, I HAVE to order a king, but the width was good, but the length (to get into my head walk). the mattress) needs to be at least 98" long. It MAY work if you place the design lengthways instead of across, but I prefer not to. Also, the pillow is blue, which is what I was looking for, but the duvet blue is more like turquoise. Of that apart from that it seemed to be a good weight and the quality was very good! I don't understand why they can't make the king and queen size big enough for new thick mattresses and box springs. Very frustrating when trying to find one that fits!
