Great mugs. NO PROBLEM! Read Review

Excellent coffee and tea mugs. I like that the kids have a hinged lid that can be tucked in and out. Many well known brands have prevented this so it's just an opening and the drinks cool faster and you have to be extra careful when walking to avoid spilling. We've used them for both hot and cold drinks and no cups have spilled as some people have reported. I do my K cups right in it and no problem. When we make coffee in a French Press, don't add boiling hot coffee. For tea, my mother takes a kettle and pours HOT RELIEF water into it. I even removed the plastic lid from the mug and put it in the microwave to reheat and no problem. I didn't have an issue with the price either as I bought the brands from a major member store and they were only 12 ounces. and as mentioned above they removed the flip top to allow drinks to cool faster, spill when walking and if you hit a bump/pothole while driving. And you didn't get 70 cups, I don't think so, I think it could have been like 50 cups and it was about the same price maybe $5 less and they didn't always have them when we went. Someone made a comment about the lids smelling like very bad plastic. Well a lot of plastic things smell like plastic so when I got it I opened the case and then there was another bag and it was just a little smell but as soon as you opened it and let it air out it was gone. When things are packed and boxed in a place that primarily makes things like this, that can happen, but it wasn't a bad smell or anything, and believe me I have a nose that can smell something a mile away, and my mother is the same. I bought it and we split the pack to try them and see what we thought and were very happy. There will be a def. buy again. I know the image looks like it's white, but it's actually greyish. But that doesn't matter, it's the functionality. I love modern art and am originally from New York and the first mug I pulled was from New York so that should have been a sign that they were going to be great and they were. And it's funny because I didn't read that many reviews, I ordered them and came back and read them and got nervous, so I was even happier as they met my expectations even more than I expected. And my friend who owns a small bakery/cafe loved it when I stopped by to pick up some of her cupcakes and said I want to order them for the store and not just have plain white cups. So I would give them a try if you want some variety in your life. And I will clean and recycle plastic lids, whatever I can recycle, I recycle.
