This is a comfortable blanket! Warm and heavy, almost as heavy as a lighter blanket. That's why I don't rate Lightweight. It was clearly not intended for a light blanket. I rate it 5 stars out of 5 for the gift option; with the proviso that the recipient is a cat. Our cat loves this blanket almost as much as we do. And he "sculpts" it all the time. This resulted in some small pills and stains on the design, but the duvet held up its claws well and withstood multiple washes. It's not as pretty as it used to be, but there won't be a blanket by the time the cat puts on her killer gloves. So I give it 5 out of 5 for durability. With my legs and torso intact and the blanket undamaged, she's obviously capable. It's not see-through, it's not light, but it stops the cold and the cats, and that's enough for me!
