Bearhard Emergency Waterproof Resistant Survival Review

Very well made. Not at all like the usual thin rescue blankets that tear easily. It doesn't fold down to the size of a cigarette pack like the cheap ones, but if you ever need a survival blanket then this is exactly what you need.

Not extensively tested. I use Bearhard 5.0 as a heat reflector under the mattress lining between the bunk and the sleeper's comforters. A sleeping friend of mine says she no longer has cramps or back pain after putting this on her bed! She stated that it kept her warm.

I bought this to use as an emergency blanket for my car. It comes folded in a thick transparent plastic zip bag, which can also be reused. I picked it up and unpacked it as soon as it arrived. I wouldn't call it a blanket. In fact, this is a medium-weight insulated tarp. Does it work like a blanket to keep you warm, dry and protected from wind, cold, rain, snow, etc.? Absolutely! Cons - The description is misleading if you thought it was a long term investment, say 6 months. If you're using it as an emergency shelter or blanket it can certainly help for a night, but I highly doubt it will withstand medium to high winds.
