Good display, big letters, nice case. Excellent price. Now the cons. No instructions or power cord. Requires 5V DC for USB power to work properly. I had the correct polarity on the power connector (red plus, black minus), contrary to the experiences of some other reviewers. The only major issue is that channel 2 works fine [ice bath = 34F, boiling water = 214F], but channel 1 is far from being calibrated for the included sensor [ice bath = 18F, boiling water = 184F ]. Channel 1 for another sensor? It's not plug and play - you need some technical skills to install and use it. This is enough to remove the back panel, adjust microswitches, check polarity, apply power, etc.
