I was quite skeptical that this could actually provide 1 degree accuracy. Low and now he can't. If accurate metrics are not needed and you just want overall range, look no further. If you're trying to buy something for actual data collection, this isn't the device you should buy. I think the included thermocouples are not good enough for 1 degree accuracy. I tested the reader by submerging all thermocouples in ice water for 30 minutes, none of them showed temperatures below 4 degrees Celsius. After a little more testing I can confirm that the problem is not with the thermocouples but with the reader. Save time, literally buy something else
