Better than metal, best in toilet valves
I don't know why, but the metal chain in my toilet rusts very quickly. I bought a cheap one at the hardware store, bought a good one at the hardware store, two months later they were rusted through. Extremely annoying. So I bought this plastic and it works just like the metal with no risk of rusting. Easy to attach. Came with a clip and also a small piece that can be bent onto a pole with pliers.
