Aside from the fact that the included tripod wobbles a bit, the lens caps never close and it's actually too big to easily fit in the included carry case ( I put a hard time in it and was able to almost couldn't get it out), and judging by the clarity, zoom and field of view, it deserves the three stars I give it. If any of these things are as important to you as they are to me, then of course you'll want to deduct a few stars for them, making this a pretty terrible choice. For the price, however, it's not that bad, and providing the best case, caps and tripod makes it a viable kit for your shooting range or birding trips, one you won't cry about. in case it is lost or broken.
