Warranty from authorized dealer not for boots

Bought these boots on 14th February 2019 for work. I work on the computer at my desk 5 days a week programming parts that run on machines. I don't wear many shoes. I walk 4,000 to 5,000 steps on my pedometer every day before I take off my shoes at home and switch to different shoes. Overall the boots were comfortable. The laces broke within the first month, so I bought a new set of laces and insoles from Dr. Scholls at my local supermarket. In November 2019 I noticed that the bottom of the boots were softer than I thought. Then on 12/16/2019 I noticed a tear on the bottom of both boots. As a result, they are no longer waterproof. On December 20, 2019 I submitted a warranty claim. On December 31, 2019 I received the following email. ************************* ************ ** Dear Xxx, Thank you have made a warranty claim.
