Judging by other reviews I may be lucky. I bought this power supply here - who knew? And so it went for six years. This is a simple vanilla setup - far from a complex gaming setup. On the other hand, I can't believe I ordered a new power supply through the mail instead of buying it locally to receive it immediately! However, over the past year, I've often experienced video corruption on reboot that required a reboot. It might have been an unfortunate CoolMax. (The video is built into the motherboard.) Then last week this PSU stopped starting with a loud bang! I bought an EVGA 600W with 80 Plus. As it stands it generates less heat, definitely a good thing. Should I add a star for a CoolMax that lasts six years? There are definitely better brands out there.
