The power supply arrived very quickly.

I was glad this power supply arrived so quickly as I was having problems with my computer and needed it for a repair. As soon as it arrived my husband installed it on our computer and now our computer is working great.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Now use this PS to turn on your computer to post this review. Unfortunately I got it as a replacement for the one in my old DELL PowerEdge SC420 server, but the connector housing placement was a bit protruding which made it not fit without a small modification to the housing. So I just put it in this DELL Optiplex GX620 and now I can use the graphics card I bought without knowing that it needs 500W to work properly. Luck for me :). This device has +4 power for Pentium 4 boards, Molax and SATA…

Purchase recommendation

Always check the voltage before installation. Of the last six we've ordered, four in this latest order and two from a previous order, the 5.0v line reads 5.5v. Out of spec.

I bought this as quality. It's not like this!

Judging by other reviews I may be lucky. I bought this power supply here - who knew? And so it went for six years. This is a simple vanilla setup - far from a complex gaming setup. On the other hand, I can't believe I ordered a new power supply through the mail instead of buying it locally to receive it immediately! However, over the past year, I've often experienced video corruption on reboot that required a reboot. It might have been an unfortunate CoolMax. (The video is built into the…

Cheap junk for computers and accessories

I was skeptical because of all the bad reviews, but I took a chance. A Micro-ATX FM2 baseboard and a SATA SSD are not powered. Withstood power cycles and the voltage varied within 10-12V. Don't waste your time, add an extra $10-20 and get one with an 80+ rating.

luv it internals

Everything I expected/hoped for You never know what you might notice when ordering online. Especially in this price range. The same block would cost 6 times more if ordered directly from Toshiba. I did some research to make sure the power supply ratings and tip size were correct and everything was perfect. I am very happy.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Useless features
