I never write reviews but thought I'd give my 2 cents here. I put together a lot of material so it might not be the same for everyone, but I put it together in under 10 minutes (I remember thinking I'd heard 2.5 songs in that time). I didn't need much guidance either. After everything was tightened, the knot seemed quite tight. Of course it will sag a little when you put weight on it due to the light frame, but for its intended purpose (holding the shoe) it's more than enough. Very happy.
