Review on SPS C1 500 Pocket Screws - 1 Inch Pan Head Fasteners by Tom Goodlow

This review is for 1 inch long #7 pan head screws with large holes for pan head sockets. I bought these screws for cabinet mounting. The drawers are 1/2" poplar. Since poplar is a softer wood, I used coarse wood screws rather than fine pitch thread. I drilled pocket holes with a Kreg Micro Jig drill guide. Note: I used pocket holes to make cabinets. for before For over 30 years Craig was selling cast pilot drill bits at woodworking shows. The poplar sized sample was bought at a local wholesale store and was less than 1/2" thick but the screws held the gussets in place without the tips going through the outer edge of the sides of the box. Nothing more to say: they work as advertised!
