I've tried at least half a dozen brands of this type of device, including wall switches. It's time to standardize to make things easier, so I chose TPLink. The app works great and the devices are fast thanks to Alexa integration. I'm giving away all the other brands I've tried - one app, anything that works properly is all I want at the moment. It's rare for someone to lose connection, but when they do, it seems like they're back online quickly. I even chose to use the full TPLink ecosystem of cameras and built-in dimmers. If you're not sure which brand to go for, I'm interested in home automation as we used to have to write our own scripts for the X10. Protocol. There isn't much I haven't tried. TPLink is consumer-friendly and inexpensive, but works very well. In my case, I even used an old spare router to connect to 38 automation devices separate from regular internet devices. I am very satisfied with the performance and the prices.
